CLARITY ANALYTICS
Clarity runs without analytics cookies.
When Microsoft Clarity is configured, it loads without showing a consent prompt and receives denied analytics and advertising storage signals. Microsoft reports each pageview as a separate session in this mode, so cross-page and returning-user reports are less accurate.
CLARITY COOKIES
No Clarity analytics cookies are intended.
The application does not grant storage permission to Clarity. Microsoft documents cookie names including _clck and _clsk; these should not be written while the denied storage signals are respected. Browser and deployment behaviour should still be checked on the live site.
LOCAL STORAGE
Recent checks stay on this device.
Web Doctor saves analysed URL, score and check date in localStorage so recent checks can appear on the same device. You can remove individual checks or use Clear history in the tool. There is no Clarity consent preference stored by this application.
CONTROLS
Your browser remains in control.
You can inspect, block and delete cookies and local storage through browser settings. Blocking storage can affect features that rely on it. For more context, read the Privacy notice or contact the owner.
